Is Dog Mountain hike hard?
If you’re looking for a challenging hike, Dog Mountain is definitely worth checking out. The trail is well-maintained and generally easy to follow, but it’s PACKED with hikers during the summer months.
You can expect to take around 5 hours if you want to make it all the way around – but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth doing. Make sure to pack enough water and snacks because this route will dehydrate you quickly.
