The closure order applies to all forms of recreation including camping; hiking; horseback riding; mountain biking; off-road vehicle use except when conducted on designated trails or roads open to motor vehicles during legal motorcycle hours only; hunting with firearms as well as trapping activities with live prey other than wild game taken from the forest by permit only during firearm deer season Anyone violating this order may be subject to fines up to $10,000 per occurrence.
